INFORMS Pro Bono Analytics Project Wins Volunteer Award from Houston Methodist Hospital

Dr. Louis Luangkesorn (University of Pittsburgh) and Dr. Rachel Chung (College of William & Mary) received the 2019 Outstanding Community Partner Volunteer Award from Houston Methodist Hospital (HMH).
Representing the INFORMS Pro Bono Analytics program, the team analyzed onboarding and tenure data to uncover key factors influencing volunteer retention. The project delivered intuitive data visualization tools enabling hospital staff to monitor and act on volunteer engagement trends.
